Belthangady: The block education officer has transferred two teachers of Sonandur school in Maladi village, who were protesting against the fight between the teachers and irresponsible behaviour by the parents by admitting all the children of the school to other schools.

On Tuesday, Block Education Officer Virupakshappa visited the Sonandur school and issued transfer orders to two teachers. There are 37 students in the Sonandur school and the parents, fed up with the behaviour of the teachers, started sending all the children to other nearby schools instead of sending them to this school.

The field education officer held several rounds of talks in this regard but to no avail. The parents did not come forward to send the children to this school. No students had been coming to school for the past one week.
Following this, the education department has now issued an order transferring two teachers here. Field Education Officer Virupakshappa visited the school on Tuesday. There were only three teachers in the school at the time. No children were present.

The education officer has issued transfer orders to two teachers. The school said that other teachers will arrive tomorrow itself. For the past one month, the problem has been created because of the teachers in the school. After several meetings, it has now been decided to transfer the teachers.

The new teachers have been posted here. Parents said they would send their children as usual from wednesday onwards due to the problem due to Virupakshappa block education officer teachers.
We fought to save the school the parents of the children the villagers all joined hands. Now two teachers who were responsible for the problem in the school have been transferred. The parents informed that the problem has been resolved and all the children will come to school from tomorrow.
