Mangaluru: One person was killed and another seriously injured in an accident between a bus and a scooter on Monday June 5 at the third turn of Charmadi Ghat in Beltangady Taluk.
An accident took place between a government bus going to Harpanahalli through Charmadi Ghat Road and a scooter coming towards Charmadi. The scooter rider Irfan (21), a resident of Magundi, Balehonnur, died on the spot.
It is said that the reason for the accident is that the road is very slippery due to frequent rains since Monday June 5 at morning in the Charmadi Ghat area. A case has been registered at Beltangady Traffic Police Station.
