Mangaluru: A POCSO case has been filed against a man from Kadirudyavara village for sexually assaulting a young girl and later forcing her to get an abortion.
Three more people who helped him with the abortion were also booked by the police.
The accused have been identified as Madu, Sudhir, Manohar and Parvathy.
According to the complaint made by the Child Welfare Committee, the victim used to visit Sudhir’s house during the holidays to watch television. Sudhir took the victim to his grandmother’s house on one of these occasions and assaulted her there. After learning that the victim was pregnant, he brought her to a hospital with other people to get an abortion.
