Mangaluru: The City secured second position in State in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is benchmark for economic progress, said BJP State President MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
He was speaking at the District Level Bankers’ Verification Committee meeting at Netravati Auditorium here in the City on Thursday December 22. The MP said that citizens, entrepreneurs, bankers and Chamber of Commerce are responsible for the City attaining the distinction. It is a matter of pride that City is ahead of Mysuru and Hubballi, he said.
It can be noted that both Mysuru and Hubballi have more opportunity for tourism, he added.
