Mangaluru: A team of 30 people that went on a pilgrimage to Amarnath from Bantwala in Dakshina Kannada District is safe.

Bantwala MLA Rajesh Naik is in constant contact with the pilgrims. The pilgrims would reach the place of pilgrimage if they travelled another 28 kms, and they are enthused to do the same.

Soldiers carrying out rescue operations are cooperating well. The team is hopeful of getting to pay obeisance to Lord Amarnath on Sunday July 10.
