Mangaluru: A 28-year-old police constable attached to the new seventh KSRP battalion was found dead in a rented room in Assaigoli on Sunday February 19.
The deceased has been identified as Vimalanath Jain (28). It is suspected that he might have resorted to suicide.
Police informed that Jain was disturbed after his mother passed away a month ago. He was supposed to report for duty on Sunday, but his body was found in his room.
A case has been registered at the Konaje Police Station.
