Mangaluru: The Bantwal Congress has condoled the sudden demise of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committe Working President and Former MP R. Dhruvanarayan.
The Bantwal Prajadhvani Yatra, which was scheduled to continue on Saturday March 11 to mourn his death, was suspended for a day and floral tributes were paid to the portrait of Dhruvanarayan at Brahmarakootlu Bhajana Mandir led by Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai.
Party leaders Pius L. Rodrigues, Chandraprakash Shetty Thumbay, Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Padmanabha Rai, Sampath Kumar Shetty, Shabir Siddakatte, Lolaksha Shetty, Deviprasad Poonja, Steven D’Souza, Albert Menezes, Venkappa Poojary, Jagadish Koila and others were present.
Sunday’s Prajadhvani Yatra will be done as decided on Sunday March 12. Yatra Convenor Pius L Rodrigues said, Saturday’s yatra will be held end of the month on March 24.
