Mangaluru: A herd of wild elephants fell into a pond inside a farm at Ajjavar in Sullia. The incident took place at Tiyadka here when three wild elephants, which fell into the lake, were reportedly struggling to come up. Sullia range forest officers have rushed to the spot and are trying to protect the elephants. In Ajjavara and Aletti villages, the elephant menace is rampant and there is a huge destruction of agriculture.
