Mangaluru: The Forest Officials has arrested a gang involved in red sander smuggling in Kilpadi Village in the City on Wednesday June 1.
The arrested have been identified as Aladi Rajesh Reddy, Anil Kumar, Paalraj, Dinesh Kumar, Anil Kumar, Kunhi Mohammed, and Shameer S.
8308.04 kgs of sandalwood consignment worth Rs. 4.15 Crore and two vehicles have been seized. Further investigation is on.
