Mangaluru: Puttur Panaje Gram Panchayat President Bharti Bhat has written the second PU exam privately after 24 years and passed in the first class with 421 marks. Last time she wrote the ESL exam privately and passed in the second class.
Born in a poor family, Bharti passed the 8th standard in 1997-98 and could not continue her studies due to the death of her father. Later, married to Venkatramana Bhat, she settled in Panaje.
Under the guidance of Panaje Balakrishna Berike, who is the principal of the college, she wrote SSLC examination in the year 2021 – 22 and scored 54 points.
