Mangaluru: Kannada and Culture Minister V. Sunil Kumar along with other dignitaries inaugurated the first edition of Kudlada Pili Parba 2022, a tiger dance competition organised by Kudla Samskruthika Prathistana at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday, October 2.
In all 12 teams took part in the tiger dance competition.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that the event has got Rs. 5 lakh from the Department. In the coming days festivals such as Deepavali will be celebrated too, he said.
He added that the tiger dancers who perform well will be given State-level Government programmes.
