Mangaluru: This is the only City with road, water and air connectivity. Here one can travel very easily from one side to the other. In spite of all these smooth traffic arrangements, there is a man here who loves horse riding.
He bought a horse from Maharashtra and now travels all over the place by riding a horse. Adyar Padavu Resident Snehit Vamanjoor has had a huge craze for horse riding from an early age. So within three years of his taking up a job, he raised money and bought a baby horse from a market in Maharashtra. The horse, named Lucky, has been with him for six years now. He runs an event management company and also owns a variety of cars for the entry of the bride and groom. In addition, the horse is rented out for ceremonies when there is a demand.
He always uses this horse for travelling. Wheat, Jowar, Hay, and Bajra are cooked and fed to this horse. Also, rarely groundnuts and horsegrams too are cooked for the horse.
The normal running speed of the horse is 40 kmph. This horse with a speed of 20 kmph travels on the road. All in all, the sound of horse-drawn horns in Mangaluru amidst the constant noise of vehicular movement has caught everyone’s attention.
