Mangaluru: A man is suspected to have committed suicide by jumping into the river after leaving his bike near the Maravoor Bridge after allegedly getting upset with his wife.
Vivek Prabhu (45), a resident of Vyasa Nagar under the City’s Kadri Police Station is the missing person. It is said that he had left the house after a fight with his wife.
Vivek Prabhu was working as an accountant at a petrol pump at Falnir and his wife was working as a beautician. As Vivek’s bike was found near Maravoor Bridge with key, it is now suspected that he has jumped into the river. Kavoor and Barke Police have said that they have not received any information with regard to finding of body as yet. The wife has filed a missing complaint in Kadri Police Station.
