The NIA chargesheet, filed recently, exposes a sinister connection between the Shimoga trial blast and the Mangalore cooker blast, both of which were part of the ISIS conspiracy.
During the course of interrogations, suspected terrorists confessed to their involvement in the ISIS plot, revealing exclusive information about their intentions and modus operandi. The chargesheet has been filed against nine individuals, with the major suspects being identified as Maaz Muneer Ahmed and Mohammed Shariq.
The nine suspects, including Maaz Muneer Ahmed, Mohammed Shariq, Syed Yasin, Reeshan Tajuddin Sheikh, Huzair Farhan Baig, Mazeen Abdul Rahman, Nadeem Ahmed, Zabiullah, and Nadeem Faizal N, were allegedly in direct contact with ISIS operatives. According to the NIA, the suspects had received instructions from ISIS to study robotics with the aim of utilizing their skills for future terrorist activities. These bots were allegedly being trained and programmed to carry out acts of terror autonomously. The chargesheet further reveals that the suspects were ordered to develop the necessary expertise in robotics, indicating a worrisome advancement in the tactics employed by terrorist organizations.
