Mangaluru: A 70-year-old woman was admitted to the Wenlock Hospital in the City for the past four to five months due to lack of memory. The elderly woman, who had forgotten the name of her hometown and address, was brought from Udupi and admitted to Wenlock Hospital in City.

Karthik Pumpwell District Saha Seva Pramukh and non-official members of the Health Protection Committee, Wenlock District Hospital, who saw this admitted old lady into Wenlock Hospital four months ago, informed BJP District spokesperson Jagadish Shenava.

Jagadish Shenava, who visited the hospital, took a photo of the elderly woman. With little information about her hometown, the BJP leader sent the photo and other information to the local police.

The local police traced the old woman’s identity within half an hour and informed Jagdish Shenava about the identity of the old lady.

Jagadeesh Shenava contacted the relatives of old lady and informed them about the elderly woman and gave them hospital address. The relatives of the old woman who arrived in City managed to take the old woman away with them.

The elderly woman’s grandson and daughter-in-law expressed gratitude to the BJP and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Similarly, many people are admitted to the hospital without knowing their identity. If other organisations pay attention to it, it may be helpful to those who do not know their identity finding their home by tracing their address.
