Mangaluru: Polluted water enters Kumaradhara bathing Ghat

Mangaluru: Thousands of fish have been reported to have died in Darpana Theertha river, the famous tributary of Subrahmanya.

On the one hand, the flow of water has been reduced and the drainage water has been seen entering the water, which has resulted in the death of thousands of aquatic animals. The fish are dying. It also smells badly on either side due to the smelly river and on the other hand, there is a fear of the spread of infectious diseases and the public has started talking about the mismanagement.

Moreover, the same water has joined the Kumaradhara River due to which the Kumaradhara Bathing Ghat has started getting polluted.
