Mangaluru: Three people, including a married couple who were wanted in connection with a murder, were arrested in the City.
Vishal Prajapathi (age 25), Rubi Prajapathi (age 23), and Gunjadevi, all from Uttar Pradesh were arrested by the police.
The trio killed Omnath Singh (45) from Bihar, as revenge for drugging Rubi and then molesting her. He recorded the incident as well to extort her.
They fled Bengaluru after learning that Omanth Singh had been murdered by Vishal, who had then stuffed his body in a gunny bag and dumped the dead body into a gutter.
The three were arrested by Mangaluru police after they took up the case.
