Mangaluru: A body of missing man has been recovered.

The deceased has been identified as Parameshwara, a resident of Kaulige in Sajeepa Munnar village. A case has been registered at Bantwal City Police Station in connection with the disappearance of a man in his house.

His son Shivanand had lodged a complaint that on night of April 14 he had gone out of the house with a torch in his hand and had gone missing without returning home.

“On April 14, around 10.00 pm, he was sitting with everyone in the house, went outside house and did not come back”. If his identity is found, one should contact the City Police Station, he said.

The family members were informed this morning when they saw his body floating in the Netravathi river flowing on the side of the house at Madiwalapadpu in Sajeepa Munnuru Village.
