Mangaluru: The truth should be in our hearts, and we should serve with a sense of truth,” said AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.
Addressing a Congress campaign meeting at Mulki in Mangaluru, she said that there is a 40 per cent Government apprehension in Karnataka. She said there are apprehensions about the BJP government looting the people. It’s election time, one has to be careful, she said.
She also attacked the BJP Government, saying that 40 per cent commission is fixed rate for every government post. Modi comes at the time of elections and talks about terrorism and safety. But all this does not happen in Karnataka, she observed.
Corporation Bank, Vijaya Bank and Canara Bank were all merged. Indira Gandhi made the port of New Mangalore. Nehru made Mangaluru International Airport. But both were sold to Adani. Isn’t it a matter of selling all this to one or two people?,” she questtioned.
