Mangaluru: Paladka Gram Panchayat, Paladka Primary Health Center and KHPT in collaboration with NREGA labourers organised a free health checkup camp programme under Gram Arogya Abhiyaan at Paladka Viklage Office.
Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Dayawati M. Launched the programme. He said that under the employment guarantee scheme in the taluk, many farmers have done agriculture and various works on their land, and the Gram Arogya Abhiyan has been organised for the better health of such laborers.
Community Health Officer Sagar said that the health of people today is abnormal due to diet. He said that yoga, exercise and consumption of nutritious food will improve health.
