Mangaluru: Coastal Karnataka’s yet another budding director Punik Shetty will soon release his first children’s movie “Virupa.”
In a press meet on February 7, the movie team announced that the film produced by businessman Daphne Neethu D’Souza is at editing stage.
Talking about the movie, director Punik said, “This movie is all about children, shot at the historical Hampi. The child actors were given acting lessons and prepared well in advance for the roles. The guide at Hampi, an elderly lady, a foreign tourist at a nearby hotel and people residing at the locality have donned key roles in the movie.”
The movie has been shot in Sync and Sound method for over a period of one month. The first schedule of the film is complete at Hampi and the final shooting will be held in France for a month, informed RJ Kiran.
Cinematography by Ananth Raj Urs, sound by Mahaveer Sabannavar and editing by Avinash Kavoor are the other plus points in the movie.
