Mangaluru: Amid curiosity on trust vote procedure, which is likely to be held on Monday, the fans of MLC Ivan D’Souza have decided to offer mass prayer at all the religious centres in the city to seek the blessings of almighty to save the coalition government.

As per the schedule, party workers and leaders of both the Congress and the JDS would gather at Kadri Manjunatheshwara temple on Monday, July 22, at around 9.30 am and offer a special prayer. Later, they would proceed to Sharavu Mahaganapati temple, Infant Jesus Chruch in Bikarnakatte and Sayyed Madani Dargah, Ullal to offer mass prayer.

The programme coordinator and former corporator Nagendra Kumar informed that the existing government is doing well and it should complete its full term of five years. Mass prayer would be organised so as to give wisdom to all the Congress and JDS MLAs to be present during the trust vote procedures and to rescue the government from the present dilemma.
