The defendants bought the seized MDMA in Bengaluru from a foreign individual and sold it to the local populace and students.
A automobile, mobile phones, a digital scale, and 35 grams of MDMA worth Rs 1.75 lac were seized by the police. The confiscated products had a total worth of Rs 4.95 lakh.
Charged Abdul Rahiman is investigating cases of MDMA sales and riots at the police stations in Beltangady, Bantwal rural, Padubidri, and Uppinangady. Mohammed Ziad is under investigation by the Uppinangady police station for one case of MDMA usage.
