Kasargod: Bike-borne assailants robbed a youth off gold and cash after splashing red chilli powder into his eyes near Badur here on Monday, July 2.
The victim, Suhail (28), a resident of Mogral was on his way to his sister’s house at Perla when bike-borne assailants waylaid his bike, and threw the chilli powder into his eyes. They then snatched the jewellery weighing 120 gms and Rs 90000 cash from him before fleeing the spot.
Suhail has been admitted to a government hospital here.
A case has been registered at Badiadka station.
