Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath had recently performed the ‘Bhoomi Puja’ for the road construction and development of Thandolige, coming under the jurisdiction of the Jeppinamogaru Ward of the Mangaluru City Corporation.
Speaking to the media, he said, “The residents had demanded the development of the Thandolige road that leads to Thandolige ‘Nagabana’. As per their demand, Rs 8 lakhs has been sanctioned for the development of the roads and the work will begin soon. We have given special preference to each and every ward that comes under the Mangaluru South Assembly Constituency. The funds have already been sanctioned for the development of the Jeppinamogaru Ward and in the coming days, a list of developmental projects will be chalked out and all the necessary projects will be initiated.”
BJP leaders Bharath Shetty, Vasanth J Poojary, Nagamma, Harish, Kamala and others were present.
