Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath laid the foundation stone for the developmental works at Jayanagar in the Bajal ward on Saturday, June 13.
After laying the foundation stone, MLA Kamath said that he has already released grant-in-aid for the all-round development of the Bajal ward. He informed that the funds have been released as per the demands of the local people.
“A total of Rs 4 lakh has been released for the development of stretch between the main road of Bajal, Jayanagar and Bajal crossroad. Meanwhile, drainage work will also be undertaken at Bajal” he informed.
MCC member Ashraf and BJP leaders like Chandrashekhar Jayanagar, Shivaji Rao, Venugopal, Prasad Shetty, Charith Poojary, Vrunda Hegade, Pushparaj and others were present.
