Mangaluru/Bengaluru: JDS state leaders have informed that the IT officers have raided the residence of party MLC B M Farooq’s houses in Mangaluru and Bengaluru.
A senior party leader has confirmed that information received from the party leadership states that Farooq’s house in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru and office cum residence in Mangaluru are being searched by IT officers.
“Two dedicated teams are carrying out this raid,” said a JDS leader.
If sources in the JDS are to be believed, the raid is being carried out on the MLC’s house to stop him from extending financial help to the JDS’ first family in the election.
