Mangaluru: A man was critically injured after falling from the 5th-floor roof on the evening of Wednesday March 3.
The victim, identified as Manish Kumar is a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria District who worked as an Assistant Professor at NITK.
According to the complaint, a handyman had called to fix a faulty dish cable antenna at a rented house in Mukka’s Agraja Apartment complex. The fibre roof sheet suddenly broke when Manish was standing on it.
Manish sustained internal injuries as a result of the fall and was rushed to a Mangaluru hospital for treatment. According to police, he is fighting for his life in the ICU.
