Mangaluru: The Delhi Commission for Women honoured Rajani Damodar Shetty on Tuesday March 8 for bringing dogs found orphaned by the roadsides home and providing them with food and medical care.
Rajani was awarded a memento and Rs. 50,000 in cash by the organisers. Rajani expressed her gratitude to the organisers for recognising her silent labour and honouring her. She expressed her gratitude for the award, saying that it has given her even more motivation to devote herself to the mission of caring for dogs.
