Mosques in DK district to open from June 8

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district Kazi P M Ibrahim Musliyar, on Saturday, June 6, has announced that Mosques in the district will resume services from June 8.

The Kazi has issued certain guidelines for the devotees to follow while offering prayers in the mosques. He informed that there won’t be any entry for those who have a cold or cough.

The devotees have been asked to wash their hands with soap before entering the masjid. They should also bring a mat from their homes to offer prayers (namaz) in the mosque. Social distancing must also be followed while offering prayers.

He also instructed that mosques should be kept open only during prayer time and closed the rest of the time.
