Mangaluru: The most-awaited Kannada movie ‘Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale Kasaragodu Koduge Ramanna Rai’, directed by Rishab Shetty will be released across the state on August 24.
Addressing a press meet senior movie actor Lakshman Kumar Malooru said that the film touches upon a very important issue of survival of Kannada medium schools. The story of the film revolves around the struggle of some children to save their government school which stands on verge of closure in the Karnataka-Kerala border region.
“The film has been shot in Kasargod, Uppala, Manjeshwara, Bantwal, Kairangala and in several places of Mangaluru. The 2 .20hr duration film has well-known Kannada actor Ananth Nag.
In coastal Karnataka, the film will be screened in theaters like Bharath Mall, Cinepolis, PVR in Mangaluru, Alankar and Inox Theater in Udupi, Vinayaka Theater in Kundapur, Movie Max and Carnival Cinemas in Kasargod. There will be a premier show of the movie on August 23 at 12:15 pm in Bharath Mall. During the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil will inaugurate the movie.
Assitant Director Shenil Guru, Actor Prakash Tuminadu were present in the press meet.
The film has been produced by Rishab Shetty, BV Rai Kalasha, Akshatha Shetty and Jayaram B Shetty. Rishab Shetty has directed the movie. Venkatesh Hanguraj has made cinematography for the movie. Vasuki Vaibhav has rendered music to the movie. Abhijith Mahesh and Raj B Shetty have written dialogues for the movie.
