Sullia: A mother drowned in a river at Mapalakaje, Nelluru Kemraje village while trying to save her child. The incident occurred on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sangeeta, Mapalakaje Janardhan Nayak’s daughter.
Sangeeta was trying to save her child from drowning in the river. Sangeeta and her child, however, drowned in the river since she couldn’t swim.
