Mangaluru: Calling MP Nalin Kumar Kateel’s Padayatra against Yettinahole project as a ‘political gimmick’, MLC Ivan D’Souza, on Wednesday, January 13 demanded resignation of the prior.
Addressing a news conference, D’ Souza said that while the local MP has been fighting against the Yettinahole Project, the BJP leaders from other places are demanding the CM to expedite the Yettinahole works.
“Can the BJP clarify its stand on the project,” D’ Souza demanding elaborating that former Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister and BJP leader C T Ravi has stated that the BJP brought in Yettinahole project and the Congress is only claiming credit for the same.
“The BJP does not know what its stand is. District BJP President Prathap Simha Nayak must come out clear on the stand of the BJP,” he said adding that the opposition is making allegations only to defame the Congress government.
