Dr Rudolph V.J. Noronha, General Manager (Corporate Communications), ONGC-MRPL today issued a statement on the brave sacrifice of Martyr Capt M V Pranjal:

Mangaluru: The brave sacrifice of Martyr Capt M V Pranjal is extolled by the MRPL family, deeply saddened by the profound event. Capt Pranjal, who dedicated his life to serving the nation, was a cherished member of our community. He was the only child of ex-MD M Venkatesh and Madam Anuradha Venkatesh.

M Venkatesh, his father, served the MRPL for nearly three decades, concluding his tenure as our Managing Director. Capt Pranjal, having spent a significant part of his childhood and youth in the MRPL colony, attending MRPL school, and being known to all, became an integral part of our extended family.

His father, a dedicated servant to the nation, and his mother, who inspired through noble deeds and contributions to social and literary spheres, created an environment where Pranjal, a happy child, thrived.

Born and raised in an atmosphere of patriotism, Capt Pranjal chose service to the nation as his occupation. Despite the ease of a corporate career due to his exposure, he followed his heart over his mind. Today, he has made the ultimate sacrifice for his nation. His parents consistently supported him, proud of his choices and accomplishments. He found happiness in his marriage to Aditi.

In this hour of grief, the MRPL family stands by Capt Pranjal’s family, offering sincere prayers to the Almighty for strength and courage in facing this loss. His sacrifice will forever be engraved in their hearts, serving as a guiding torch for the MRPL family on the path of serving the nation.
