Mangaluru: Narayana Guru Jayanti was marked at Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mangaluru on Monday August 23 in a simple manner.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel paid floral tributes to the portrait of Bramhashree Narayana Guru.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Nalin Kumar said, Narayana Guru’s struggle for the betterment of the backward classes is unforgettable. As a pioneer of social, educational, and religious transformation, he has worked for the good of society.”
He added that Narayan Guru’s message of one race, one religion, and one God should reach out to society.
