Kasaragod: The National Human Rights Commission has asked the state government to submit a report within 15 days with regard to a petition filed by RSS-affiliate Akhila Bharathiya Malayalee Sangha (ABMS) stating that the left wing is targeting the right wing members in Kerala state. The report is to be submitted within 15 days, failing which the Commission said it would take such action as it deemed fit.

The same notice was also marked to the home secretary of the Union government, director general of police (DGP) of the state and the district collector of Kannur.

While the Right wing has claimed that the Left wing has been concertedly targeting them, the observers say that it is an ideological war going on between the two, which has been scripting Kerala’s political history with blood.

As many as eight people from BJP, CPM and other parties were hacked to death in Kannur this year alone.
