“PLEASE NOTE.. LOCK DOWN MEASURES TO CONTINUE AS USUAL TILL 21st APRIL MIDNIGHT… NO RELAXATIONS FROM TOMORROW…” tweeted the Compol on Sunday.

The government order dated April 19, states that the Consolidated guidelines dated April 14 of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the containment of COVID-19 epidemic in the country will remain in force upto May 3.

The Health Ministry too, on Sunday said that there will be no relaxation in containment zones in the areas designated as hotspots, from April 20.

Dakshina Kannada, with one death and 14 positive cases is in the hotspot list of the state.

The Centre, on the other hand has directed all the states and the Union Territories (UTs) to “suitably modify” their lockdown orders in pursuance to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to reflect the correct position.
