Mangaluru: BJP State Chief and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the National Students Union of India (NSUI) and the Congress workers are exhibiting goondaism in response to the incident of activists attacking Primary and Secondary Education Minister B. C. Nagesh’s residence in Tiptur.
Kateel was speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday June 1. Stating that it is citizens’ right to protest in democracy on Government’s inefficiency or omissions, he said that however what Congress and NSUI exhibited was goonda culture and it is condemnable. The attack made at Minister Nagesh’s residence was an act of conspiracy, he noted.
Kateel said that the fear of losing in the upcoming elections is the reason behind the attacks. He also urged for thorough investigation into the incident.
