Mangaluru: Mangaluru Branch of SICASA (Southern India Chartered Accountants Students Association) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) organised a one-day seminar on bank audit on 13th March at ICAI Bhawan.
More than 275 students registered for this seminar which was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, the newly elected Mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation, Sri Premananda Shetty.
CA. Gautham Pai D., Chairman of SICASA Mangaluru welcomed the gathering. CA. K. Subramanya Kamath, Chairman of Mangaluru Branch of SIRC of ICAI gave the presidential address. The Chief Guest addressed the students reminiscing his good old days as an articles student pursuing CA course from 1992-95 & emphasized the importance of bank audit.
Mayor was felicitated by the Branch Managing Committee. Student representatives, Mr Shreyash Shetty, Susheer Shetty, Branch Secretary, CA Prasanna Shenoy, Vice Chairman, CA A. R. Musba, Past Chairman, CA Ananth Padmanabha, and Managing Committee Member, CA Gautham Nayak were present.
