Mangaluru: A fisherman went missing after a traditional fishing boat capsized at Sasihithlu near Surathkal, on Sunday, August 27.
It is said that there were eight fishermen in the boat during the incident. Seven fishermen managed to come on board the capsized boat by swimming. But unfortunately, one fisherman went missing in the turbulent sea waves. The missing fisherman has been identified as Tarun.
The region has been receiving heavy rainfall over the last couple of days leaving the sea rough and also preventing fishermen from venturing into sea for fishing.
