Sullia: P N Bhat Balila, a mathematics teacher at Vidyabodhini school in Sullia received the national award for best Mathematics teacher from the prestigious All India Ramanujan Mathematics Club.
Purandara Narayana Bhat received the award during the silver jubilee celebrations at Emerald Heights International School in Indore in Madhya Pradesh recently.
P N Bhat is also the recipient of CNR Rao National Best Science Teacher and Rajiv Gandhi Best Science Teacher awards. Being a resource person at the state and national level, P N Bhat is known for innovative teaching methods for science and exhibiting them on several science fests across South India.
