Mangaluru: The International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Pravin Togadia on November 23, stated that the film “Padmavati”, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, should be banned.
Togadia, arrived at the Mangaluru Airport to take part in the “Dharma Sansad” programme at Udupi, which will be held from November 24 to 26.
Responding to queries from the media, Togadia said, “In Dharma Sansad we will discuss about issues like the Ram Mandir, removal of untouchability, laws to protect the cow and how to make farmers in the country free of debt.”
When asked about the row over the film “Padmavati”, he said, “It should be banned.”
