Parents Threaten School Boycott Unless Transfer Is Reversed

Mangaluru: Bailu Bilinele government higher primary school of Kadaba taluk witnessed a massive outrage from the parents, and school SDMC against the transfer of the physical education teacher.

Meetings were held on Thursday and Friday between the parents and the SDMC committee where they discussed about strengthening the agitation further, Bailu Bilinele government higher primary has only the capacity of ninety students and as for the ninety students, the teachers ratio is 1:30, while speaking in the meeting, Vinish Bilinele said “It is not a good decision to transfer the physical education teacher just because the school has the capacity of 90 students.”

“If the promotion is not withdrawn, parents shall agitate by not sending children to the school” he further added.

SDMC President Yashodhara Parla, President of Alumni Association Umesh Poombhooli, Duggappa Gowda, committee members, parents and village head were present at the moment.

Later in the meeting it was decided not to send the children to school on24 on June, Saturday as a part of the on-going protest against the transfer of the physical education teacher.
