People prefer Rahul’s ‘Jadu Ki Jhappi’ over Modi’s ‘Acche Din’: Mithun Rai

Mangaluru: As Congress party secured a lead in three states out of five states in Assembly election, Dakshina Kannada district Congress organised a victory celebration in front of District Congress Committee office on Tuesday, December 11.

The Congress leaders and workers celebrated the victory by disbursing sweets and bursting crackers. After the victory celebration, Dakshina Kannada district youth Congress president Mithun Rai said that people are aware that `Acche din` will not come under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hence, they opted for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. People have preferred to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘jadu ki jhappi’ over Modi’s ‘acche din’, he added.

Former MLA J R Lobo told presspersons that people have given their answer to the anti-people governance of the BJP. “People have lost their trust on Narendra Modi led BJP government. This verdict of people will repeat in the next Lok Sabha election too,” he said.

Congress secured the lead in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Though the Congress planned to organise victory celebration at around 12 pm, they refrained as there was fluctuation in the result. As there was a neck-to-neck fight between the Congress and the BJP in Madhya Pradesh, they held a victory celebration only after 12.45 pm.
