Belthangady: Miscreants targeted and vandalized a roadside petty shop at Boodajalu in Nidle village, Belthangady. The incident occurred on Friday night, leaving the shop owner shocked and dismayed. Abdul Aziz, a resident of Mallige Majalu in Kokkada village, had been running the petty shop along the highway for the past three years.
As part of his routine, Aziz closed the shop after business hours on Friday night and returned home. However, when he came back on Saturday morning, he was met with a disheartening sight – his shop had been vandalized. The unidentified perpetrators had strewn all the items from the shop onto the road, and cold drink bottles were shattered in the act of vandalism.
Abdul Aziz promptly reported the incident to the Dharmastala police station, and an investigation has been initiated into the matter. The motive behind the vandalism remains unclear, and the police are working to identify the culprits responsible for the attack on the roadside petty shop. The incident highlights the vulnerability of small businesses to such acts of vandalism and the need for enhanced security measures to protect local enterprises.
