Bantwal: In the backdrop of wildlife photography having international recognition, special permission will be issued to wildlife photographers to shoot in Bandipur and Nagarahole, Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai said.
He was talking after inaugurating a photography exhibition displayed by photojournalist Kishore Peraje titled ‘Rajatanadeyallondu Chayakirana’ held on account of the silver jubilee celebration of Bantwal Working Journalsists’ Association, Bantwal Press Club and Bantwal Journalists’ Association’s Silver Jubilee Celebration Committee.
Expressing pleasure over Peraje’s photography, Rai said that he is a role model to budding photographers and wished that he scaled greater heights.
Hailing Peraje’s work, Convener of Kalladka Srirama Vidya Kendra Dr Prabhakar Bhat said that every photograph clicked by Peraje has its own essence and touches the soul.
A workshop on photography for college students will be held at BC Road Press Cub on Saturday February 13, at 10 am. Times of India photojournalist Ravi Posavanike will be the resource person.
