Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the massive convention of the BJP to be held on Saturday, May 5 at Nehru Maidan as part of the election campaign.
Addressing a press meet at BJP office here on Tuesday May 1, BJP leader Monappa Bhandary said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive to city on Saturday May 5. Nearly, one lakh party workers and candidates from ten Assembly constituencies of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu district will take part in this convention.
Narendra Modi is expected to arrive in the city through a chopper from Shivamogga at around 5:30 pm . Party workers who wish to attend the convention have been requested to assemble at the venue by 4:30 pm.
State level party leaders will be present during the programme.
