Bajpe: Police have arrested two individuals who were involved in stealing batteries from parked vehicles. The arrested suspects are identified as Prathap (20), a resident near Eshwarkatte Kollavella Raghavendra Bhajana Mandira in Mooduperar Village, and Anil (23), a resident near Church Road in Kandavara Village.
Bajpe Police had received reports of battery thefts from parked vehicles in the areas of Adooru, Kaikamba, and Gurupura. Two separate cases were registered in relation to the theft of batteries from Tipper Lorries, JCBs, and other vehicles. Prakash, an inspector from Bajpe Police Station, along with his team, conducted an investigation. They traced the stolen batteries, including 17 Amaron company batteries worth around 4 lakh rupees and a car valued at 1.5 lakh rupees, to the possession of the arrested suspects. The suspects were produced before the E-Court.
