Mangaluru: Kadri Police have arrested a man for posting derogatory comments on social media against State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader.
Accused has been identified as Divya Prasad from Moodbidri.
It is learnt that recently Khader had taken part in a programme hosted by a private TV channel. Accused had posted derogatory comments on Facebook during the programme. Hence U T Khader’s well-wishers has filed a complaint in Kadri police station.
The accused was arrested from Bengaluru and produced before the court in Manguluru.
A case has been registered under IPC Section 507 and Sec 67 of the IT Act.
