Belthangady: Actress and former MP Ramya is heading into fresh trouble. After sedition charges were slapped against her for pro-Pakistan comments earlier, a court here directed the police to register a case against Ramya for her recent statement against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Advocate Vasant Marakada had filed a private complaint in the court after the police failed to register complaint after receipt of complaint. The court after hearing the complaint has instructed the police to file a criminal case against Ramya.
The actress is expected to be summoned by the court to record her statement once the complainant records his statement.
It may be called that Ramya had accused RSS of being hand-in- glove with the British and not being a part of the freedom struggle of the country.
